Film Forum
The Alameda Network of Spiritual progressives (NSP) Film Forum is a monthly film screening and discussion event. The Film Forum screenings occur on the first Saturday evening of each month at the Rising Hope Spiritual Community at 3050 Van Buren in Alameda. Doors open at 6, film starts at 6:30 p.m.
A $5 donation is suggested, popcorn is provided and drinks are $1. We select films of social, political, and spiritual facets and implications.
Following the screening of the film we gather in a circle and discuss the film, its style and content. We look for films that give us insight into the changes in spiritual and political involvement in the world today. The Alameda NSP Film Forum is open to the public.
